publicists to view restaurant information 24/7. Our website includes restaurant blogs, forums, restaurant and winery fact sheets, restaurant and winery photos, menus, chef and winemaker bio's, free classifieds, and event and press release listings. We are a destination for writers and business travelers in search of restaurant information. We feature member listings by city with each members press information on one page so that guests, publicists, writers and editors can get all of a restaurant or wineries information fast and 24/7.

Our Story
In May of 2008, while restaurants throughout the U.S. were having challenges, Cliff Bramble, one of the owners of Rathbun's, Krog Bar and Kevin Rathbun Steak, set out to build a niche social media community that would assist restaurants, journalists, publicists, concierges, meeting planners and restaurant patrons with communicating more effectively with each other. He wanted to create an affordable online marketing tool for the restaurants, and at the same time, create a resource tool for journalists, publicists, concierges, and others that need information from restaurants 24/7. With adding profiles for restaurants, journalists, meeting planners, vendors or restaurant patrons, Cliff created an instant niche social marketing website that allows restaurants to search for journalists, journalists to search for publicists, and patrons & publicists to search for restaurants. He then added areas where restaurants can post free classifieds, post their press releases, post events, contact journalists, create blogs and post to forums. Most importantly, he created a sign up area where restaurants can add all of their press information and then hit "send". Once it is sent, the entire information on the restaurant becomes available to all of the members within The Restaurant Section immediately. All of this so that restaurants could save money with their marketing and work towards marketing themselves more effectively. The Restaurant Section ultimately saves restaurants money with marketing, with changing their websites, and in locating professionals within the industry that may assist them in sales. Upon initial launch of the site, wineries were added so that they too can use the site to market to restaurants and journalists.
His passion has assisted his restaurants with gaining national notoriety and has helped him in creating the vision for The Restaurant Section. We hope that you use this website for your advantage and find the best restaurants or wineries in your community and visit them frequently.

CLIFF BRAMBLE: Founder of The Restaurant Section
With his vision for The Restaurant Section, Cliff has created the first social media and publicity website for restaurants and wineries and has incorporated social media and networking into the restaurant and winery business. Cliff created The Restaurant Section with a vision of allowing restaurants to use all of their online tools together so that they can market their companies more efficiently. He also wanted them to have affordable social marketing tools and an online publicist that would give them their own profile and ultimately, gives them more avenues for marketing their restaurants to journalists, concierges, meeting planners and restaurant patrons.
Since May, 2008, Cliff has been working with international website architects and has created a website that allows each restaurant in the country to have their unique profile page with fact sheets that include their menus, their Twitter feeds, their Facebook pages, their chef bio's, and complete information on their restaurant so that journalists and patrons can access this information 24/7 and have it all on one page. He wanted restaurants to be able to post free classifieds, have free blogs, post free press releases, and have an area that would allow a journalist to download pictures as needed and without making many calls. And most of all, he wanted this to be on one website and be affordable to restaurants. Now in completion, The Restaurant Section is now usable to restaurants nationwide and it allows them to do what Cliff's original vision was.... To help the restaurant community communicate with others and save them time, money, and assist them in gaining nationwide recognition in an affordable way.
Cliff's background in the restaurant business spans over thirty years and he has worked for Marriott Corporation, Buckhead Life Restaurant Group, and is currently the co-owner of Rathbun's, Krog Bar and Kevin Rathbun Steak based in Atlanta, Georgia.
KIRK
PARKS: Co-Founder of The Restaurant
Section
Kirk is a co-owner of Rathbun's, Krog Bar & Kevin Rathbun Steak. Born, raised and educated in a small farming community in the Midwest, Kirk worked at the local steel mill until he acted on his love for the culinary field by taking a job at a local restaurant. Chef Parks has garnered many awards, including in 1993, The James Beard Foundation, Baker of the Year of the Southwest. Chef Parks has been published in Southern Living Magazine, Food and Wine, Bon Appetite, Gourmet, Atlanta Magazine, as well as appearances on many local TV stations. Chef Parks has won awards and honors for such acclaimed desserts as his B&B Cube, Banana Quesadilla, Apple Pinon Enchilada and the Chocolate Pecan Pie.
Kirk resides in Marietta, Georgia with his wonderful wife, Freida and step-daughter, Kimberly.
The Restaurant Section is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia and is owned by veteran restaurant industry operators. Our restaurants include the nationally acclaimed Rathbun's, Krog Bar and Kevin Rathbun Steak.
